About Sho Spicy

Sho Spicy is a chinese restaurant in Sandy Springs, Georgia. It is listed at 4920 Roswell Rd Ste 11, Sandy Springs, GA 30342, which places it among the local businesses of Sandy Springs that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Sandy Springs; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Georgia are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Sho Spicy at (404) 963-6889; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, shospicytogo.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 309 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese restaurant in Sandy Springs and suggests consistent service.

Sandy Springs is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Been a regular here for several years. Ate here today with friends and was very surprised to see that the quality in some dishes had declined. It seems that they have sourced a different meat vendor for some dishes, and the meat is more processed. Specifically, the chicken, lettuce wraps and the cumin lamb dish. The lamb was not pure lamb like normally. It was a processed lamb. The flavor was the same in the overall dish but it was a low quality cuts of lamb-- which was very surprising and disappointing. The cuts of chicken also used for the lettuce wraps was very processed chicken.

I was born and raised in China, but the flavors at this Chinese restaurant are truly authentic; whether dining in or ordering delivery, the quality is outstanding.

Loved the food. Great taste. We tried hunan chicken, lo mein, and 1 spicy chicken dinner item. Will definitely visit again. Price reasonable. Nice clean ambience.

Fish in the hot oil is a family favorite; it's full of chili flavor but not too spicy. We also frequently order various dishes paired with tofu and douhua (a softer version of tofu). Eggplant and tofu, douhua fish, stone pot douhua beef… Growing up in New York gave me my own appreciation for the abundance of Chinese food. While Atlanta's Chinese food scene isn't as extensive as New York's, if you're looking for authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine, head to Sho Spicy. It's an authentic Sichuan restaurant. As locals, we've been eating there for over five yearsβ€”delicious, hygienic, and incredibly fast ordering.
